This is an exclusive selection of white mallorcan wool.

The irregularity of the thickness makes these yarns unique pieces for crochet projects, two needles or loom.

The creation of all yarns is a slow process that cannot be rushed. All skeins are the result of processing raw fleeces. I brushed wool to remove all dirt. Then washed it several times so that the fibers are clean and smooth. I Carded very carefully so as to remove the last traces of waste. Yarn spinning is the final process. During this phase I cheese the thickness that will be thread. Sometimes it is smooth and fine, others thick and irregular.
Finally yarns have been hand dyed with olive tree leaves.

All production is done in Mallorca (Spain), working on a little farm using recycled materials to build tools and equipment.

The entire process is respectful with the enviroment. Lots of dye baths, hand picking, blending or combing to create unique colourways and textures that can make a yarn come alive…

Lana y bambú hilado a mano. Fibras teñidas a mano. Tintes botánicos. Lana para tejer.

La fibra ha sido lavada a mano, con jabón natural. Luego cardada con una cardadora mecánica e hilada con rueca. Después, las madejas han sido lavadas y secadas al sol. Finalmente han sido teñidas a mano con hojas de olivo.

La irregularidad del grosor de la fibra, hace de estas madejas piezas únicas para tus proyectos de punto, crochet o telar.

La creación de cada madeja es un proceso lento, que no puede apurarse. Todas las madejas son el resultado de procesar lana recién esquilada. Las fibras son escarmendas para remover todo la suciedad. Luego lavada varias veces, así las fibras quedarán suaves y limpias. El cardado se realiza con mucho cuidado, para remover hasta el último rastro de suciedad. Luego se hila, durante este proceso decido el grosor que tendrá la madeja. Algunas veces es suave y fino, otras grueso e irregular.

Toda la producción está hecha en Mallorca, trabajando en una pequeña finca, utilizando material reciclado para fabricar las herramientas. Mu Yarns es una marca ética y sostenible.

Todos los procesos se realizan completamente en armonía con en medio ambiente.
